Ocean Mist House Located on the low cliff front of the beautiful south-eastern coast of Barbados, this villa takes advantage of its wonderful oceanfront views and the on-shore breezes found on the windward side of the island. Surrounded by tall coral walls and coconut trees, the property is extremely private and is a perfect getaway for those looking for a quiet and peaceful vacation. Completed in 2007, this villa has been beautifully decorated with furniture imported from Ethan Allan Home Interiors (USA). The entrance of the villa opens onto the “Great Room” – a very large, open-concept living space with soaring 35 foot ceilings, and an eastern wall made entirely of glass with spectacular views of the ocean. The Great Room has several different areas, perfect for entertaining, relaxing, reading or group activities, and walks out directly onto the spacious pool deck. Also located on the main level, to the left of the Great Room, is a fully equipped Kitchen that opens up into the Dining Room which offers ocean views through a set of French doors, and a large dining table with seating for 10 guests. To the right of the Great Room is an Entertainment Room with down-filled couches providing comfortable seating, a television and DVD player, and French doors opening out onto the pool deck. There is also a powder room and laundry room on this floor. The five bedrooms and two full bathrooms are located on the second floor of the villa. Four of the bedrooms are outfitted with queen size beds, one of which has a crib. These four bedrooms are fully air-conditioned. The fifth bedroom has two single beds, a ceiling fan, and is suitable for two small children. Both full bathrooms are equipped with showers. Bedrooms 1 – 4 each lead out to a wrap-around veranda where you can sit peacefully and enjoy the views of the ocean. The upper level of the villa also has a small Lounge; a perfect place for reading, listening to the rustling coconut trees outside, or relaxing with family and friends. The property’s large patio and pool deck is the perfect place to relax under the Caribbean sun and enjoy spectacular ocean views. The outdoor dining area is equipped with a Weber barbeque and a large teak dining table with umbrella cover. There is a large swimming pool (30 x 50 feet) that is ideal for the serious swimmer and is also suitable for children who want to play in the shallower pool waters. The villa’s Oceanside Lounge is a very special place. Made entirely of coral stone and located close to the cliff’s edge, it is the ideal spot to spend the afternoon on a reclined lounger soaking up the Caribbean sun. Ocean Mist is conveniently located 15 minutes from the Airport. It is also only a few minutes drive from the famous Crane Beach (cited "One of the Ten Best Beaches in the World" by the Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous) and the renowned Crane Hotel which provides our guests with wonderful shopping opportunities, a spa, restaurants, cafes, and Bar 1887 which features live music every evening. The villa comes with daily maid service and a full-time groundskeeper, and for those who want to try the local Bajan cuisine, a chef can be arranged for an additional fee.
