“My family of 5 spent Christmas here this year. The Crow's Nest is an amazing home that has arguably the best views on the island. We spent most days sitting outside watching the water and just relaxing. There is so much room in this home so we never felt cramped and the best part was each room had it's own ensuite so none of us had to share a bathroom. Because of the wind/ salt water there were absolutely NO BUGS and we were able to keep the shutters open to keep the house naturally cooled by the wind. This truly created a magical 'indoor/ outdoor' experience. At night we did end up closing the windows and the air conditioner / ceiling fan in our room kept everyone at the right temperature. We were told in advance and given information about renting a car (which is necessary) and hiring a cook (optional but a really great idea for dinners!) Everything we needed was at the house and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make lunch/ coffee for breakfast etc. I cannot say enough about this beautiful house. Every decoration has been considered and fits elegantly in the home.”
